The adventure begins

Room 2 had a very exciting first day at school today. We spent the morning playing games to get to know each other and explored our new classroom. We are very lucky to have some new furniture in our classroom. We will post some photos of our new learning environment later this week. After morning tea we went to assembly and then read a poem together about the first day of school. The poem was called Jitter Juice. We all had some magic jitter juice while we sat underneath the trees, outside our classroom. The jitter juice is magic because it makes the butterflies in your tummy disappear! After lunch we got creative with playdough and then went for a swim. We also watched a Youtube clip about Nemo's first day at school. He was very excited about his first day. Some of the things Room 2 are excited about are making new friends, being in a new class, swimming, feeding our pet fish, playing on the ipods and cooking in class.
